SJRP was not on the top of my to do list. My Higher Power had other plans. I am so incredibly thankful to have stayed as it taught me how to live life on life's terms. The staff overall did their very best. There are, of course, those who stood out from others. My experience there was nothing like I had expected it to be. I will forever cherish moments like the VAT bed, Soundbath, art therapy, dominating in music trivia, trips to Mud Springs and the lakes, my roommates, my best friends who became family, being a peer advocate, and most of all how I was able to rekindle my faith. I can't name them all because there were so many good people on staff, but there is one person who changed my life, my therapist Spenser. He was able to help bring me back up from rock bottom. I had such a heavy heart and he showed me how to be proud of myself and how to be strong. I can't speak for everyone... however, I know Spenser changed the game for me and so many others. He is truly a gem worth keeping. My family and I will continue to thank God for him every single day.

This place is amazing never did I ever think rehab could be fun. It’s really a special place. I love all the bhts! Jamie, Tiffany, manatee, Seryah and Georgie are the best! My absolute favorite person is SPENCER !!!!!! He’s the funniest counselor ever and he’s just the best . Make Spencer president! Lol love you guys

I haven't even gotten to the facility as of yet considering some legal matters in my past but Elise has been so understanding and has been helping me as much as she can. Even if I'm not accepted I thank you for the effort. I have to do this on my own but to have someone "try" to make it work with you is a blessing to keep pushing.

Not the first rehab I’ve stayed at and by far the worst. Not all staff is polite. Confined inside most of the time except smoke breaks and the occasional weekend outing. Most rooms don’t have a window and are either freezing or there is absolutely no a/c at all. I’ve seen many other places that have many more accommodations. I’ve never been to prison personally but my stay here was the closest I’ve ever felt to being in one. The website is very misleading.

They are a wonderful team of caring professionals who truly care about their clients and have helped several of my friends find their way to long term recovery. I would highly recommend them if you have a friend or loved one or yourself struggling with addiction. They have a unique and robust program and a warm, inviting atmosphere. I ended up at SJRP totally unexpected and pretty much at rock bottom. I was nervous but the staff and the atmosphere quickly made me feel so welcome. The different groups, therapy sessions, counselors, and adventures make you feel yourself again. It's comfortable, the food is amazing, the doctor is great, the massages, vat bed, outdoors trips, smoke breaks, etc. make SJRP a life savor for me. A+

These people give you one chance. A medical Uber shows up and is judgemental towards someone in recovery. I just got phone blocked by the Chaz at the center. Don't go there. White sands, or vista is a better choice.

I cannot express into words how much this facility and its staff mean to me. As with most, when I began my journey, I was extremely apprehensive about staying inpatient. I was ready but still reluctant, even on arrival. Within the first few days this mentality quickly shifted to an environment that I felt very comfortable / safe in and able to begin the work. The staff there, with all honesty, REALLY DO CARE. You are not just another patient, you are not looked down upon, judged or dismissed. Your recovery is very important to each and every staff member. While I care for, and love everyone at SJRP, I really became close with Spencer and Jamie. I am beyond thankful for having the experience to work with them and I can say having these two in my life as mentors and friends has propelled me to a life I did not know was possible. SJRP's approach to what I would call "a full mental health recovery" taught me there was so much more to recovery than just not picking up a bottle. My experience truthfully taught me how to live a better life, to the fullest, not "just be sober". I cannot recommend this facility enough for anyone seeking to break the chains of addiction. There is a variety of different forms of therapy offered, from groups, one on one, nature, meditation, the psychology behind addition and one of my favs, acoustic therapy. I could type a novel on the benefits of this facility, but to sum up with out blinking an eye I would easily and forever recommend SJRP.
