Sadly yet another insurance company that are more than happy to take your money and then fob you off when you want to make a legitimate claim. I took a policy out with them for three devices after reading some reviews and being reassured by their 5 star defacto rating. Sadly I’m now two weeks into a claim for a damaged phone and find myself subject to a number of requests for ‘proof of purchase’ ‘proof of usage’ all of which I have provided. As with most insurance companies these days you end up dealing with third party claims assessors that have a focus on rendering your claim invalid for whatever reasons they can find. Phone is still with me and yet to be sent off for repair. Policy will not be renewed at the end of the term and I’ll be looking to insure with a more reputable company. £200 for three apple devices isn’t cheap in my opinion. Your probably better off increasing your household policy to get them covered.

I had my Samsung S8 insured with this company. I accidentally cracked my screen and made a claim.

I sent off the phone and it took a week or so before being returned looking and feeling as good as new.

Just over 6 months later and the cracks from the original break were faintly visible slightly distorting the corner of the screen. This shows the repairs done by this insurance company are not long lasting and professional jobs. Their warranty following repair is 6 months which is the exact time period before the cracks started resurfacing.

My phone is still working and it could be worse but one has trust in an insurance company to do repairs appropriately and not bodge jobs like I have experienced with i-Digital Mobile & Gadget Insurance.

Absolute rip off. 3 months waiting for a cracked screen. Can't deal with the company I pay money too, you have to go through another company to make a claim. But that company won't contact you, and you can't contact them either as I Digital never five you correct details to the company whom deal with claims.
Pay one company, get ripped off by the other company that supposedly pays out claims. A company whom don't even have contact details.
Total insurance scam. Don't waste your money.

Experienced the extreme worst and also some good with this company.

They dealt with my initial claim very impressively, returning a repaired water damaged phone to me within 3 days.

Low and behold, like other customers have experienced, the phone then broke on me 2 months later - a green line appeared down my phone screen. Their repair team (MMI Services) refused to even inspect the device, despite it being under their 90 day warranty, claiming the damage must’ve been caused by me.

After several complaints spanning over a couple of months, they then agreed that I could take the photo to an Apple Store for an official diagnosis. Apple confirmed there was still existing water damage in the phone causing the screen issue and quoted me for a full device replacement.

Idigital therefore then apologised and were quick to pay me for a full device replacement with a refurbed device, but this is only because I took the issue higher up within the company. So eventually I was left with a new working device, after some grievance and the entire claim spanning over 5 months.

I took an insurance out for multiple gadgets with this company as theirs was the cheapest quote I could find. Not sure if this is just a one man band organisation as the same chap, Ken, answered my calls on all occasions but he was always polite and professional. Shortly after I found out that two of the items were already insured through my bank so I cancelled the policy (with Ken!). No problems at all and the money was refunded within 5 working days.

Initially paid the £50 excess to get my phone repaired (cracked front and back), seemed to be okay but then a few weeks later the internal lcd suffered a 'hairline crack' after being dropped around a foot onto the bedside table to charge (while in a case). No external damage at all. But according to these guys, it's all my fault as the phone was repaired 'perfectly', passing all their diagnostics (none of them being a drop test from that height!)

All I can say is, prepare yourself to be paying another excess if the phone suffers an issue shortly after being repaired. I'm waiting for huawei response about the phone being able to withstand a drop from that height but even then they said they will only go by the word of their repairers!

Don't be drawn in by the £50 excess, go a little higher and go for a company who will get a replacement out in 24 hours.

Looking forward to testing the repair to see how water proof it is, because then I'll be seeking the full £100 excess I paid

Firstly their disorganised. However they did do a good job fixing the laptop. Delays when receiving the laptop back and whole process took a good couple weeks or more.

!!!!!!!!!? SCAM!!!!!!! after my phone was broken I tried to claim on the phone insurance with these crooks and Trent insurance who they are a reseller for. They just keep asking and asking for more and more paperwork all of which was provided and then do not pay out.They just want take UR money that's all. I have been payed them for 8 months
